The primary pupils celebrate Esala Perahera!

In primary the pupils have been learning about the Buddhist festival Esala Perahera,  which happens in Sri Lanka every August.  As part of this we watched video clips of the elephant procession which included fire dancers.  The pupils were all really interested in the fire dancing and this inspired us to go and ask Mr Pietri to teach us more about light photography.  Watch out for more photos of our own elephant parade, we have made masks and prayer wheels already.
